Mermaid Art

Has anyone done any type of mermaid drawing art? Not just the tail designs but like, something with all that jazz :D

My friend's done some mermaid art and actually works at a tattoo shop designing it as well. Plus he does logos! (Yay! but it's around 450$$... No...) Anyways, he said it's okay if I post his artwork here since it's mermaid based so I shall :D I'm looking to see if anyone on here does any CGI with their art as well. Just out of curiosity. So yeah, he came over, had dinner, and we discussed a logo for my future professional mermaiding as well ;) Here's a sketch of my future logo and here's his artwork of a mermaid he's done in the past along with a chibi he did of me :cool:

This isn't the final pose or how it's going to look like yet but it's close. He's starting on it tomorrow, and the last message from the Finfolk girls said they're cutting up the scales for my tail :jawdrop:
You know what that means... Or don't you?... *le gasp!*

This is a lovely piece. I love the colour combinations. :) The only thing that bugs me a bit is that the crown looks a bit like a piece of cardboard compared to the rest of the picture. But otherwise, it's a great pic.:thumbs-up:
