hey so my parents order as a surprise for my birthday the fin fun adult monofin.
i seems small to me maybe im wrong? is it good size and propulsion for a neoprene and 95%-100% sequined tail??

im scared it will be to boyant with the extra layer of neoprene of the already neoprene cover??
can i use weightS for the tail?

what do you know about them is there something specificly good or bad?
i cant ind anything on the forum about them but really need some quick info.

I hear that they're pretty floppy and low propulsion. I think they're suited better for fabric tails. As far as floating, you can add weights for sure.

When I tried mine, I took it off to see if it floats, and it did! Which is great for me, since I cannot sink, imagine me trying to retrieve it from the bottom of the 1.2 m depth pool...

Its nice and soft too, fabric and fin. I think its a good one to use especially if you're still learning and don't want a monofin that might be too hard to use. But that's just me personally, we all learn at different rates.

I have a fin fun monofin Its pretty floppy so better suited for fabric tails as far as I've noted it does not make you float. to make it stronger I suggest buying one of there spare inserts from here http://www.finfunmermaid.com/accessories-54/monofin-plastic-insert-replacement/monofin-pro-insert-replacement.html . I hope this helps!

Hei guys thanks for the answers!
I'm not actually new to monofins im a freediver and have used them before but never owned one myself. Now cause of boyencie I was worried cause that would be 4 layers of neoprene ! Isn't that to floaty ?? Well and sequins.

There's a whole thread here about weights.
