Hi from Australia!

Hey everyone!

My name is Dallas. I'm from the beautiful south eastern, sub-tropiical region of Queensland in Australia, and I am currently transitioning into professional mermaiding. I've been in love with mermaids my whole life, it's always been something I return to, especially since moving from an outback town to the coast. I've not seen another mermaid in the whole country let alone my area (I know about Hannah Fraser, but she seems to have emigrated to the U.S.), so this is a huge step for me. I have a six year old son who is very jealous, and has begun demanding a tail of his own, even though I don't even have one yet! I have a shitty job, so instead of buying a tailormade tail, I'm going to attempt to make one myself. I'll be documenting this process on WordPress eventually.

Anyways, I'm totally open to questions and good conversation so don't be shy!

Hello Dallas!
I'm from SA, just south of Adelaide.
I have been mermaiding for 3+ years now and for 2012-2013 ran a small tail-skin sewing hobby business.
(Until the demands outweighed my supply of patience.)
If you need any tips and tricks/info/help when sewing your first tail I'm very happy to help out. :D
Another thing I do is organize Open mermaid meets. (I call them Swim-alongs)
If you are ever in Adelaide, Let me know! We have a growing pod here in SA and are always happy to welcome other mermaids from interstate (or even overseas!)

Thanks! I'm going to attempt a silicone tail, I love the look of those, though I may make a fabric tail for the interim. It will be an adventure for sure. I rarely travel interstate but I will definitely keep you in mind if I ever head down that way.
