So my latest protege isn't on mernetwork yet but I wanted to introduce her anyway so people can find her and follow her stuff. Her name is Mermaid Mutiny. She is auditioning for the Halifax Mermaids as we're continuing to expand. I feel very confident that she's going to land it (lol) she just has to work a booking now as the final test!

Here's her fb page please go and give her a like: https://www.facebook.com/mermaidmutiny

I wanted to share a status she recently posted that is very cool

I am overwhelmed with the likes and the support within the past twenty-four hours. Thank you for all the starfish kisses and mermaid wishes.

Let me tell you a bit about myself: I am half Sabawaelnu (pronounced sah-buh-wahn-ill-noo aka the Halfway People). A Sabawaelnu is a Mermaid or Water Spirit of the Mi'kmaq people here in Eastern Canada. We are Mers who can pass on good luck to those to show us great respect, or call up storms against those who are disrespectful. We also have a great dislike of violence. If you are lucky on the sea a Sabawaelnu will come up to your ship and if you give her a token from the land she will bless you with good luck.

She's currently swimming in a beautiful tail we purchased from Mermaid Bonnie. (Bonnie made it and there are photos and video in another thread) We have an older Merbella's basic tail on the way for her as well. Nice to have two options. I'm trying to secure enough tails that my girls have 2 to flip between. :)

I actually just posted this in your other thread right before you made this one, but it makes more sense to move it here lol :

Mermaid Mutiny is lovely! I was wondering about her name. Is it pronounced like mutiny on a ship and does it have any special meaning to her?

She's so lovely, and she looked like a total natural in the videos you posted on Facebook! Already following her FB page, too. :) I bet she'll do great at the booking!
