I am so excited I've finally moved my second book process into the final stages! Editing, formatting and soon.. TO PRINT. Wee. I don't have an exact release date yet but
"Fishy Business: My Life as a Mermaid" will be coming out soon. It documents over a year of my life working as a pro mermaid. The ups and downs and funnies! Plus there are loads of mermaidy tips inside and I think it'll inspire many! I am so so so excited :) Soon!

This is the follow up to Fishy Business: How to be a Mermaid

I am hoping when all is said and done there will be 3 books in the series :)

I think the negative space on the right is perfect for the book summary and the ISBN barcode. I haven't tested it out yet but I just received my digital ISBN number so I'm going to try it wth gimp and see if I like the placement.

Here is the front and back cover MOCK up for my next book! I am hoping to publish it by the end of this month and have a local book release either at the end of Sept or beginning of Oct.
This is just a mockup- there are more tweaks needed. But I'm happy so far. Left is front cover, right is back. Both images were taken by Sean and then edited by me. Yaaaaaaaaaay just sent the draft off to the local printer to be printed. Everything is all assembled just waiting to get it back so we can go over the final details. After this, we send it to the publisher who will then send us a proof copy :) once the proof copy is approved (maybe if I am lucky it'll be first try) we'll be officially launching.

I'm so happy to finally have it all done!

"Fishy" Business: My Life as a Mermaid, follows me on my journey to switching from a part time mermaid to a full time mermaid. The book chronicles the ups and down of trying to make it as a performer, all sorts of hilarious stories, the struggles that are unique to me and the ones we all encounter, along with photos, and tips for other mermaids and performers.

Where my first book focused mainly on information with little stories woven in; this book is the opposite. This is my story, with all sorts of tips to help you out.

It's my hope that this book will inspire others to follow their dreams, but also give them a realistic understanding of the work involved.
