So I'm taking on the challenge of a full latex tail and was wondering what other kinds of clay would be alright to use for sculpting my fluke besides monster makers

I just came across a clay called Marblex self hardening clay but it doesn't say anywhere if it's sulfer free or not, has anyone seen it before

Marblex is an air-dry clay and it's WATER based. Bye bye resin/Shell Shock.

Have you tried searching the Tail Making Threads yet?

I found some clay at micheals, it's water based natural clay but I wasn't planning on using shell shock, will this work for my fluke sculpt? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/17/4aruvu5e.jpg

If you don't cover it with plastic it will dry out, and if so, you can't really re-wet it.

It also depends on what you are going to use to make your mold. Plaster? Resin?

Plus, I don't know if sulphUr has anything to do with the cure inhibition of LATEX. It reacts badly with SILICONE.

Have you even bothered to look at the tailmaking threads?

I have been reading the threads as much as possible, I got confused it's a lot of information to try and understand. I'm really just trying to make sure I don't mess it up
