View Full Version : enlarging the fin fun pro?

so i have a in fun pro monofin which i will be using in my sequine/neoprene tail but it seems alot smaller then i planned so i was wondering if anybody has any experience with enlarging the fin fun monofin ??? or should i just get a lexan plate and cut out a completly new form???

I don't know. Have you asked Fin Fun about making a custom fin?

Maybe lexan is easier, though I haven't heard of anyone making the Fin Fun bigger.

You can't, the plastic is precut, you could cut it smaller, but can't make that bigger... You'd have to get some lexan and cut it yourself. Then either glue/bolt on booties (smaller fins basically) or do it how they do and sew a liner (they use neoprene).

I have a fin fun pro that I modified in my fabric tail. I used some cutting board plastic, irrigation pipe and vinyl to enlarge it by sticking it to the outside of the neoprene. I must say though, the thinness of the original polycarbonate makes it hard to modify it as the extra weight makes it incredibly floppy. Good luck!!
