Unboxing videos

I'm new here and this probably has been discussed before, but what started the trend of unboxing videos? I love watching them, seeing the faces of all the excited people getting their beautiful tails. I hope to be able to make one when I get mine.

Me. Lol. As far as I know I made the first *viral* mermaid unboxing video years ago. But unboxing videos exist on their own as a genre on YouTube.

Unboxing videos for tails are the best. I love them because you usually get a great look at details and things that you can't really see in other videos. I love seeing everyone's reactions too! It's cute!

People should put unboxing videos here, whether you saw one or you made one. Just so everyone knows its there. I love unboxing videos, same reason as everyone else. Hahaha Some are really funny.

I love watching them, though I have watched several of them at work where I can't have the sound turned up. It's fun to try to figure out what is being said and watching the expressions of delight!
