They were designed by Jeabyun Yeon of South Korea. They're not on the market yet, but what an exciting innovation! :D

Actually, it's already been proven that this oxygen mask is entirely impractical and the claims going with it are both totally impossible and entirely rooted in "psuedo-science."

Basically, humans need a LOT of oxygen to be able to breathe underwater; and the deeper they go and the more water pressure they're subjected to, means they need more oxygen. Given the low amounts of oxygen in the water, if you were to dive down 10 feet at temps of about 25 degrees Celsius, that mask would have to be able to filter through 190 litres of water per breath at 100% efficiency to sustain a comfortable level of breathing. It simply isn't possible.

More details debunking the "science" behind this mask can be found in this article (http://imgur.com/gallery/vesIM), but the gist of it is that it's a really awesome idea in theory, but I wouldn't recommend getting your hopes up for it. It's either not going to come out on the market at all, or it'll come out and still be pretty well useless.
