Hello everyone! I'm Mermaid Fawn and I'm so thrilled to have found this site!!! I'm actually an animal trainer and happened to find out that few professional trainers actually were mermaids as a fun career! So, I have decided to take on "mermaiding" as a fun and enjoyable hobby that can also improve my breathing skills and swimming ability. I can't wait to meet you all! ;) Wish me luck on becoming a fin-tastic animal trainer and mermaid!

Hi! :) I'm currently involving myself with horses at an Equestrian Center and working with my K9 in Therapy Training to work with kids on reading (R.E.A.D. Therapy Dog Program)! I actually just got back from a program up in San Antonio to work with marine mammals later on! Training is a fun journey!

How long have you had experience as a mermaid? I barely started and would love to get to know people who have amazing experience!

Hi, Fawn, welcome to MerNetwork! I am also a mermaid and an animal trainer. I have trained several species, including dogs, for performance. But I currently (pun intended ;-) specialize in fish training. My husband and I have a band composed of two humans and two musical goldfish: http://www.neptuneskeep.net .

yes I do ride and compete my horse Minion. We do eventing/ hunter/jumper and dressage shows all over!!! I am only being swimming in a tail since spring of this year, but mermaiding has been something that I knew I was supposed to do with my life! I started out with a fabric tail and recently decided to go ahead and get a silicone one made and start my business and I am loving every minute of it!!!
