Thanks! They're actually just little sea shells that I wedged in my hair! I didn't have any clips handy.

But I guess it will only work well for dry events! A tad too high maintenance for your average mer, I dare say. I bought some matching hair extensions to use when swimming, so as to make my hair longer and mermaidy. But then again, only in fresh or sea water. No chlorine on MY blonde hair! It will go under a swimcap and wig for pool gigs!

I LOVE the teensy shells in your hair, so cute! Can you swim with them or will they fall out like that?

I think they'd fall out because they weren't very secure. I would have to make little clips with waterproof glue for them to stay.

Thanks! It's hardly worth the 8+ hours of work (setting at night for an hour and sleeping on curlers), but I like it. But I would love to use the extensions to get a little more natural-looking, breezy look :3

No, not really. This is like, the results of MONTHS of fine-tuning my routine XD A curler won't give you the volume needed to pull it off, or the staying power to make it last all day. Only air drying with setting lotion does the trick. It doesn't look that huge in a photo, but it's pretty voluminous in person. AH LIKES MEH SOME BIIIG HAIIIIR XD

Actually the curlers go on top of my head and the rest is pin curls, which lay flat, so it's pretty comfy to sleep in after you get used to it! XD

It's super easy and routine once you get the hang of it! Pin curls have a tricky learning curve, but once you've got it down, they are SO fast to set and you don't have to worry about them uncurling in humidity or after a few hours. If you set them with setting spray and give it at least 8 hours (and a good dose of hairspray after), that stuff is NOT moving. XD

Gotcha! I'll definitely need to practice pin curls and invest in some curlers and setting spray! It's too gorgeous to pass up!

And you get used to sleeping on curlers. It's only weird the first few times. I always said "If my Memaw can do it..." ;)
