Questions of the fabric content for my tail~

I've been browsing through the Joann website last night and found a really pretty print!

It's 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex (58" wide). It's a Dance Performance Tie-Dye fabric, and I was wondering if since this is tie-dyed, will this fabric have a risk of bleeding into a chlorinated pool? :confused: How good is the quality of Joann's fabrics?

Well you can always test it. Perhaps buy like a half yard and soak it in different types of water. All the fabric at joann fabrics is different. My plain Lycra spandex from there held up great, but anything holographic is going to be weaker etc. Just have to test it or go for it.

You should also always pre wash your fabric to account for bleeding.

I've found that pretty much any "activewear" fabric is probably gonna be okay. It's always good to test them though. Especially red/orange fabrics. They tend to bleed the most.
