Need some help

So I'm looking for what I want to do after year 12 in high school, I've always wanted to either be a police officer or in the Army and right now I'm leaning towards the Army however neither of my parents are happy about the idea... has anyone been in the Army or currently is? what are your experiences? please help I have no clue what to do....:help:

I personally think that joining the army is something that should be done post college. You can join ROTC while attending a 4 year school and when you graduate you'll already be a lieutenant. You could even just get a general education degree while you're there.

I agree. t would be best to at least get a degree. After that you can join the army. That way, if you join, and if you ever want/have to leave, you have something to fall back on.

Plus it's always easier to become a police officer post army.

the way that they have it in Australia is that you sign on for 6 years and they send you to a Royal Military College and that counts as a part of your 6 years and also is a college that gets you a degree

I didn't notice that you were in AUS. That sounds like a pretty good deal.
