well, those guys are talented, but it's so much work and stuff for a single still.
They could have made a short movie instead with less CGI and the model in a decent-looking real tail :p

also, admittedly I don't care much for that CGI tail.
Looks a bit too artificial imo, especially the lower part where the tiny dots are.
There are hundreds of real tails that look way better.

Really interesting stuff they made. Quite a lot of effort, and really nice cgi work. And I guess a scene like that is easier set up in cgi than shot for real, even when doing it in a pool, with all the technical difficulties involved in an underwater shoot. Especially the combination of the real model with the cgi elements is nice (although personally I prefer real tails ;)).

Wish I could do stuff like that *sigh*
