Ben Nye on shells?

I just got a pair of shells from the Oregon Coast from a family member who was on vacation and I have a ton of various jewels from performances and I was wondering if anyone has used Ben Nye Spirit Gum to glue things. I know it's waterproof, but i didn't know if there have been problems with it in the past & considering these are the only shells i have (stupid inland living) i'd like to keep them good!

I would use E6000 personally. I know it's waterproof and damn near impossible to get off.

I would think that Spirit gum would only work for adhering the shells to skin safely, rather than gluing things to the shells.

I'm not sure how well it would hold heavy seashells to skin honestly....little ones yes, big ones??? Try it before you go in public with that meathod. lol
