I didn't have a large sheet of paper to trace my legs, so I thought outside the box and taped pieces of newspaper and magazines! I think my dad will take me to Joann's today (I finally found one a short distance away from us ~14 min.)

Oo, I love looking at fabric tail threads :) If you want to make the pattern-making a lot easier, use packaging paper instead of newspaper. You can also use sturdy giftwrap, or buy some paper at the fabric shop that is meant for making patterns. That way you won't have any hassle with sliding paper, and having to tape everything together. Plus packaging paper is much stronger, whereas depending on what you're using to draw the pattern, the newspaper can rip very easily. The packaging paper comes in a roll so you can use as much as you need for the length of it, and if you get good quality stuff, there will be a much smaller chance of it tearing at the edges or anything. I'm super excited for this!
