A little bird told me letting it out doesn't have to leave a scar. When I had an anxiety attack earlier I started just drawing on my inner elbow, and I realized it looked like scales and I kept drawing until I was finally calm. I just thought it might give a little inspiration to others who struggle with things such as anxiety because it definitely helped me. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/14/my7abe5u.jpg

As somebody with an anxiety disorder (anxiety+depression), the idea of drawing on yourself instead of harming yourself is one that I've seen come up fairly recently, and is such a wonderful idea. <3 When I have panic attacks I usually end up scratching at the skin on my arms until there are sore, raw patches (I keep my nails trimmed almost painfully short as a result). I'm definitely going to be keeping some of my inking pens nearby in case.
I'm really glad this method worked for you. The scales look awesome! :D

Now you need some colored sharpies and go to town on those scales, lol!

I get anxiety a lot and I typically write the words of what I'm feeling on myself in eyeliner and then wash them off. I love the scale idea too though!
