Ok, so I love dolls. No secret there! And I was perusing the web and found this mermaid reborn baby! I really want one! I'm trying to decide on colors, hair, and if I want Pearl (awake) or Mishell (Sleeping)! I've already picked the name 'Guppy', and I want her to be a girl. So, what do you guys think I should pick? I would love to see your ideas! :D

Weird I thought I had posted before on this thread. Maybe my phone ate it.
I like the pink myself, maybe a coral color? The long hair looks weird to me, seeing as it's supposed to be an infant.
Good luck making a decision :)

Get one to match your tail?

That would be awesome! I don't have a tail yet though... Maybe when I do get one, have them match?

ERMAHGERD I didn't even realize anyone made mermaid Reborns!!! I've been lusting after a couple of reborns myself, now I may have to make at least one of those a mer... assuming I can ever afford one, my current highest doll budget is LaLa Loopsy (no seriously, that's the most expensive/only doll I have).

Hmm, I've got to say I personally like that sleeping one better... And I think a silver or pale gold tail would look lovely, something pale and fishy, like maybe the baby mer hasn't quite developed its colours yet?

I like how the scales are a little "melded together" and not all crisp and individual, I think maybe a newborn mer might not have fully-developed scales yet, for a few reasons: to avoid injury to mother during birth; to avoid injury to mother during the years she must carry/nurse the baby; and to avoid damage to the baby itself, from sharp scales... I know I've injured myself on sequin scales, LOL!

Woah that hair... I know it's supposed to be a mermaid but I would personally be in so much pain if my newborn popped out with that much hair :P
