Mermaids-by-the-Sea... Any Florida mers going?

Hey all! I just came across some info for Mermaids-by-the-Sea, an annual event at Windjammer Resort in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea that I was previously unaware of. This year there is going to be an "in tails" wedding (Barbara Wynn's, actually) and they are trying to set a record with number of mers in attendance.

I'm going to call Windjammer to see if you can just show up for the wedding or if you have to be staying at the hotel or whatnot. The flyer is not super clear. In the meantime, any Florida mers have their interest piqued? Or has anyone attended before?
