A portion of proceeds from each mermaid concert in our series will be donated to ocean & wildlife conservation.

Watching a concert on Concert Window (http://www.concertwindow.com/about) is easy. The Mermaid Concerts: Water Wings

Mermaids have more fin!

In our first concert in the series,"Water Wings," we will debut some of our newest original songs. With vocals by Mermaid Galēnē and Salty Stuart the Pirate, hammered dulcimer, concertina, piano (yes, a mermaid playing piano with her tail!), and FISH accompaniment. Yup, live fish making music with orchestral instruments!

Neptune's Keep is a very fishy band. One human, one half-human :-), two goldfish, and a dance troupe of seahorses perform together in a truly astonishing musical partnership. Lilting vocal harmonies drift through sea chanteys, ballads, and original songs about water and the creatures that swim in it, fly over it, or sail upon it. Currents of hammered dulcimer, piano, and concertina gracefully flow. And trickling gently through it all, music directly from the water: notes and chords composed and played entirely by fish. Through an amazing blend of art and technology, our musical fish comprise an aquatic orchestra, playing a diverse collection of virtual instruments from electric guitar to jazz bass to orchestral harp. This unprecedented collaboration between human and fish redefines musical beauty!

Animal Planet TV, BBC Radio, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, and newspapers worldwide have featured our performing fish. Fish have hidden depths!

Mermaid Galene and Salty Stuart present concerts, sealife parties, multimedia theatre, and nature programs for all ages. In or out of the water, Mermaid Galene dazzles in her many elaborate costumes and fully swimmable tails. Salty Stuart, her musically gifted pirate husband, is the most mild-mannered and good-humored of nautical scallawags.
