Fish skin/scale mermaid top?

:confused: So I was wondering if it would be cool or weird to make a mermaid top with patched fish skin/scales (not sure what the terminology is). It might be scary to children though but I think it would look very realistic. Anyway it would look something like this . . .

Hey, why can't it be both weird and cool? I think that would be really neat! You're thinking of each of the sections having a different colour/texture? I think, if you do it right, it'll look awesome :)

I think it depends on what you plan on doing in it. Kids parties probably a no-go but if that fits your opinion of what a mermaid *would* wear then go for it!

No not real fish. I was thinking silicone or latex
