What's in a name.....Help?

Hello Lovelies! :)

Soooooo I have been pondering something and then I realized that this is the community where the answer already lies and I am hoping you all can help me uncover it?

I have very slowly been starting to make tails;
it has been both an amazing and exciting experience thus far...whew!
We have our first tail done, including out first fluke which looks like this:

So here is the problem:
It was named it the ISIS fluke after the beautiful and strong female myth, but with the recent activity overseas in the middle east, there are some thoughts that maybe we should change the name to something a little less...a reminder of a huge terrorist organization doing awful things in the world right now...

On one hand, I don't want to give in to fearmongering and hatred, but on the other it just seems almost disrespectful with the situation being so intense right now.I would really value some feedback from you all.

So...thoughts from my MerFriends?

Honestly I don't think it's a big deal. Mermaids and terrorists are so far on either end of the spectrum I doubt anyone wil even associate the names. If that's the name you like, stick with it :)

Goddess Isis. different from Terrorist Group I.S.I.S.

But if you want a name that comes from a goddess and youre uncomfortable with isis, why not pick another name from another whose characteristics are the same?

It is so disheartening that a terrorist group gets to hijack a goddess' name and then have people second guessing beautiful fluke designs that honor the goddess, and not the *i have no appropriately foul word for the terrorists*

I am a fan of the TV show Archer, which has a spy agency called I.S.I.S. I had just bought a tshirt with that on it at a con when the terrorist group started making news. I hate that I can't wear that shirt now, lol.

One note, the name would be for the fluke, not for me :) I am already Mermaid Meko and quite happy with that, its just the fluke style name that I was worried about.

i still keep my opinion. name the tail after the goddess or name it after another goddess.
