Broke 2 toes and one of the tarsals (spelling?) in my foot today. Second time I've broken bones in a dumb way, first time was on a slip and slide, this time i kicked a a doorway walking through it.

So, what does everyone else do when they cant put on their tail (or swim even)? Was supposed to go for a swim with Miyu in the next couple weeks :( Have had to spend most of today with my foot up and on ice. So I've been doing the hand work on current orders.

I'm sorryto hear this.. :( Sounds like it hurts! Since you can't swim.. Maybe you could have yourself a mermaid movie Marathon! Just prop that foot up and watch Splash and The Little Mermaid and Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid.. And The Thirteenth Year.. And well, you get the idea. Lol. Hope you heal quickly so you can get back to swimming!

That totally sucks. How long does it take to heal a broken toe? Is it possible your foot will be well enough to swim in a tail in a couple weeks? If its not will you at least be able to swim without a tail?

Ouch...That gotta hurt. I hope you get to feel better in the next couple of weeks. Take some rest and apply some bags of ice.

Its not really my toes I'm worried about, its the tarsal (the long bone that connects the toe to the heel/ankle). Will take between 6-8 weeks to fully heal. MIGHT be able to swim, without my tail, by week 4 :(

Annwyn- it was an accident :( was hungry so i went to the kitchen to get some more cauliflower (tastes so yummy in my homemade ranch), cut the corner too close and wham. Least i managed to get my bowl onto the counter before falling, otherwise I'd have glass cuts too

Ouch... We'll if you're still up for swimming might I suggest you use a floatation device and rest your body/leg on it and float around?

Oh, ow. Sorry this happened, Morticia. I seriously injured my foot tripping over my little dog and then kicking a heavy chair on my way down. Everybody gets klutzy injuries now and again. With toes, time heals. While you're waiting, I say pamper yourself and just do whatever you enjoy most when you're not on your feet.

I knoooow this sucks so bad :( Oh man because my toe is just healing up now after smashing it on that tent stake a couple of months ago! And with us having a limited time frame to work with before you go and there's no other mers around here either :( But I really want you to be there for my first swim in-tail!!!
