I came across this today while relaxing a little bit. Does anyone know more about this? It looks pretty cool!

Wow, you'd have to be really sure of when to deploy that balloon. If you calculate wrong as you're sailing along down there, you might run out of breath too soon. But it looks like an otherworldly experience!

How does he get the propulsion though? If that's all you use, and you don't have some sort of propulsion, how do you go that deep for so long?

Its Batman!!

Maybe there is a way to move your arms so the wings catch water and propel you forwards?

He kind of reminds me of a human-manta ray-flying squirrel-hybrid lol. This experience looks like quite the rush.

My guess is he rides the water currents, just as sky gliders ride the air currents. So it probably doesn't work in really calm waters.

It'd be drag city in any regular pool.

This video resurfaces from time and time.
I'm sceptical, because there is very little info about it anywhere else.

What's more, they show the dude moving at a slow speed mostly, slowing down all the time, then stopping, then the video is cut and the next sequence (same as before) begins.
We never actually see what propels him.
There must be something though, because it's clear he gets slower all the time while onscreen.

My guess is this thing, while looking cool, is really awkward and unwieldy underwater.
It's probably only useable if you happen to catch some drift (unstable, and how do you get back?), or gliding awhile after diving in from above like shown in the beginning.
(Again, how do you get back up?)

There is probably a good reason why there is no footage showing him getting propulsion, or swimming back to the surface :p
