Mers In Arkansas? Maybe around Greer's Ferry?

I live in Arkansas, and swim in Greer's Ferry lake, I'm it's first mermaid as far as I know. I was wondering if I have any fellow Merpeople around the area?

I live in Memphis, but will be relocating to CA soon. I used to visit Greer's Ferry every summer growing up and wonder if there were such things as lake mermaids. I am glad to hear that is true!
