My Minecraft Mako Island Project!!

Hi every-mer!

So I was looking to see if there were any h2o or mako maps for Minecraft and surprisingly there were none that I could find. So I have decided to make Mako Island from scratch! So I will use this thread to post updates and (hopefully) the completed island

The moon pool, complete with land entrance (H2o and Mako Mermaids) and Sea entrance.
The Trident Chamber.
And anything else you suggest!

What texture pack are you using? I like the way it makes the water look.

Oh, makes me want to boot up my minecraft server again, or install the new pc I will abuse for minecraft server :P
I had a real nice pack that included all kinds of safari animals and land textures too. But the guy who ran the server overloaded it with add-ons which made the server unstable.

Good luck on creating your island! I know how much times it takes as I have been creating dungeons :)

Yes I do have to do everything by hand, unfortunately world edit is multiplayer only. Everything you see is done by my own two blocky hands. I had to clear a small island before I could even start Mako. I also need to clear out the land behind my building location so I can get the size right. This is gonna take a while [emoji28]

My daughter is a Minecraft nut and loves Mako Island and H2O. Can't wait to show her your progress. :) And my bf... he's like some kind of Minecraft genius.

it would be cool for all the SL mers to go hang there, hold meetings and so on.

One could even make a scripted moon which would once per month wander over the cave opening, and hold a special moon rite.

It's an online 3D platform.

it's been around for far longer than Minecraft, and yes, it's free.
(although you cannot shape and edit land/places with the free version sadly)
