I just paid for my first tail!!!!!!
It's just a simple, plain black fabric tail, but I'm finally gonna be a mermaid!!!!
Oh god, I've waited so long for this moment!!! (About 6 years or so)
They're gonna start tomorrow I hope and thet means that next week on Monday or Tuesday should arrive!!!
I can't wait!! So excited!!
I actually like that it is a plain black fabric tail, now I have the ability to alter it with a dorsal, fins and stuff like that to eventually make it really my tail.
If you want to know, I ordered my tail here:

I hope it will fit you as it mentions that it's 1 size for kids from 6 to 12 years. (6 year: 116 (cm) en 12 year: 152 (cm).

Everything is allright, it will fit me.
They also make altered tails for adults. :)
I sent my measurements earlier today so I'm sure it'll fit me.
Nothing left but impatient waiting for now... :D

They're making my tail, and hopefully it be here with me on wednesday.
One thing I'm concerned about is the monofin, the tail is made with a Finis Foil
and I'm worried that the fluke will be the same small shape as the fin,
but because I kept asking questions about the monofin and forgot to ask this.
The tail is now already being made, and I don't want to shoot any more monofin questions at them.
So I really hope that the fluke will be made with some extra fabric in mermaidfluke shape floppy around the monofin.
Cause if that's the case, I can glue the Foil to a sheet of polycarbonate I had bought for a tail I wanted to make (It turned out a had no time to make it).

I mailed them yesterday after I posted my worries here.
They mailed me back today.
And the tail is square, like the shape of the Foil monovin.
I am not so happy about that, but that means that now I, hopefully, have something to do next week(it's autumnholiday in Holland).
I'm going to try and remake the fluke section of my tail, with help form my mom and dad.

Love the sparkly top! (: That tail would look great jazzed up with some paint! (Maybe metallic silver?)
Congrats on your first tail.

If you want to add a larger monofin, maybe you could cut the sides of the fabric in the fluke and extend it to fit a larger one?
The top is awesome, can we see pictures of it on?

Swam in my tail a few hours ago.
It was new, I have only swam with a Competitor before, without a tail.
And now I have a tail, with a Foil... That's a big difference.
But it was awesome!
I might make a picture of me in the top after dinner, but it's probably tomrrow, because I put in the washing machine after my swim.
I have already plan on making this tail awesome.
I want to remove and remake the whole fluke section,
Make my own polycarbonate monofin,
And cover the whole body of the tail in scales (I plan on doing that in a week.)
Maybe some scales in a different color than black, I don't know yet.
I do know that is going to fun to give it a make-over.

Washingmachine is done, the top was quite dry so I let my boyfriend take a few pictures.
Can't decide which way the shimmers look best, falling down or floating up?
What do you guys think looks best?

I actually like it better going up, but it looks great both ways, so you could alternate! :)

Thanks for all your reactions guys.
I think i'll switch between up and down,
altough I discoverd that on top of the bra the brand is written in barley seen black thread, which indicates how the top is supposed to be worn.
And ehm, sorry for reacting so late..
I kinda forget sometimes to check my own threads.
