Hi all, with much reluctance I'm admitting that I need help with my tail. I will re-post the text from my GoFundMe here vvv

Hi everyone!
In June 2014, I fulfilled a childhood dream and ordered a silicone mermaid tail from Finfolk Productions to begin an independent company where I will be entertaining at children's parties, visiting children who are ill, interacting with guests at the local medieval faire, and in other words just inspiring people to use their imagination!
I paid my tail deposit, which was $1250, and the rest of the payment for the tail is due in January- another $1250. I had saved up the entire amount when I placed my order.
However... life happens. My hours at my job got cut last month due to budget restraints, and I decided to return to school this fall and cannot work many available hours or look for another job until Spring semester.
In the space of a week, early in the morning I backed my car (with a bike rack on the back) into a tree and shattered my back windshield, blew out my two front tires, and had to replace it all not covered by insurance as the damage was under my deductible.
I also received a bill for medical services (I have a chronic illness) which was much higher than expected, and am on a payment plan to get it taken care of.
All that said, I have had to dip extensively into my savings to cover up these fun little events... and I'm struggling. I'm living paycheck to paycheck, and the tail will help me earn supplemental income (double my current) when it is finished in January. It is important to me that I get the tail on time, even if that means being on the ramen diet for a while.
I put a lot of work into saving money for the tail, and I know many others do the same. I'm only asking for $800 of the final payment (GoFundMe takes a percentage of every donation) and the rest will go to the gifts I am sending the backers to show my appreciation. If you have anything to spare to help me make fins meet, I would be deeply grateful. Every little bit helps... I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and maybe sharing this fundraiser. Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day.
