Hello fellow Florida finfolk!

I am just curious if we can get a list of rates throughout the state, so if I travel and perform I am not undercutting. Non-Florida mers, if you have answers to this from mers who are not active here (Raven and Medusirena, for example) please feel free to post.

I have looked into the Gainesville market and rates here for character parties are $150-250/package depending on the party package, usually for an hour or two. Gainesville is relatively on the lower side for entertainment- but I've been working with other local entertainers to increase our pay to get level with the rest of the state.

I'm currently charging $150 for a one-hour swim party that includes face painting, and $250 for a 2 hour party that includes face-painting, coloring (materials provided) and the reading of a book.

What are you charging for your gigs? What are you including in your party packages?

www.mermaidtales.net is a good place to go to see mermaids in different areas. Here are the listed ones for Florida: http://www.mermaidtales.net/portfolio-category/florida/ of course that doesn't include Raven or Melissa or a bunch others on the forum but it's a start.

I love how all the Florida mers on there are blue XD Thanks for the website! No rates listed publicly... I wonder if I should change my site to 'contact for quote', that's what I have on my Burlesque site.

I know Blue charges less than a lot of other mermaids, but Raven and Melissa are both up in the 300$ per hour/per part of an hour range. You may not be able to go that high til youre a bit more known but something to work towards ;)

I'll be working for sure!
