We don't have an official how to advertise thread do we? If not lets start one :)

That's a brilliant idea 💡!
I don't have so much experience in advertising but I think that a good way to expose your business is to go to some birthday 🎂 party for free, maybe for friends so that each child who sees the mermaid will do anything to have she at her/his own party ;)

More you'll be suggested as a good option for entertainment for other parties (words really fly quickly!) and easily get paid gigs ;)

I remember meeting my first "real life" mermaid at the Orange County fair. She was hired by a jacuzzi company demoing their products there to sit in the tubs and talk to people!

So maybe find some local events coming up and ask merchants if they would hire you to promote them there? It's worth a shot, if you aren't big on kids' parties!
