Mer-kids, Mer-babies, Merlings!

I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about the things we find for our mermaidy children, or for those who work with kids, the things you do for them!

I do not mean for this to be a place to actually discuss parenting, because that is very subjective and potentially problematic when it comes to beliefs and techniques. Just for the record. :)

So when you find mer things for kids, or have ideas for parties or education, or anything at all that might interest parents, caretakers or educators of mer-loving children, please share here!

Cuttlefish plushies. My daughter wanted one for Yule last year, this was the only place we could find one. And it's adorable.

And with Halloween coming up here in the US, I am thinking a lot about costumes. My daughter decided to be a unicorn this year, so that's what I'm making, but I'm keeping this in mind for next year. It could be converted to kids sizes.

What a neat idea :) I've bought arid label apparel t shirts for my niece (shell tops size small) and hen altered them so they fit her .

I'm making sea life plushies for my merlings, my oldest has earned enough homeschooling stickers for his own tail (he keeps trying mine on, I'll get a pic tonight) and has asked for some sea friends

he already has his tail picked out, we're just waiting for tax returns to buy it so next month. He wants the Finfun new rainbow tail, because it has all of his favorite colors already on it
And he has to pass the swim test so he can come to the pod swims
