Dream Tails?

Okay, let's admit this. Everyone. Professional or other wise has that one tail they have yet to buy or create. Or maybe in the midst of creating. And it is THE tail you have wanted.

This thread is to post those designs, WIPs, or now owned dream tails!

Mine is based on the Red Tailed Catfish. I know odd choice, "Mermaids are only salt water!!!" ;) But, the reason I want to be a mermaid is because my state needs more voices; positive ones to help preserve our fresh water habitats! Lake Sturgeon which is endangered in my area still - would be another tail I'd love to do. But, for now, I'll work on my fabric tail for a Blue and Yellow Chiclid <3 BTW: Thanks to MerbellaStudios for their template!

I have a design that has been a design for at least three years, and as time goes by I see more and more people design a lot like it, which is a little disheartening- not that they want similar, but that they're moving ahead with it and I'm not. I'll have to dig it out and scan it. I just moved, so I can't find it atm, with things still in boxes.

Brianna, the catfish tail is beautiful. Great colors.

Oh, we have several fresh water mers here- rivers, lakes, bayou. You'll see them around as you get to know the place.

Stunning tail! I love it! But yeah, there are a few fresh water mermaids around. Raven made a Kio tail recently, and Mernation made a Bear Lake Cut Throat Trout for mermaid Dottie :D I'm certain there are more but I don't know them :(

Oh, wow Brianna! That's an amazing design! :D It's so easy to picture the tail in real life. No doubt it will look good when you get it in the future :3

My dream tail draws inspiration off of a villain/anti-hero(in his own head) type character I've had designed for a few years. Due to me staring at an over $3,000 price tag for what I'd want from it though I've decided it's good to dream even if it's not realized.

Thank you to Finfolk Productions for the template! I would have ordered this tail from them because I'm in love with their detail fins designs and the realistic fluke shape is one of my favorite styles.

I have one and it makes me cry sometimes. I've been sculpting and making molds for years working towards it, and sometimes I get so frustrated at all the beautiful things in my head that I can't always express in the real world. I think my dream tail will be done in January and I'll put up the inspiration and process pictures then.
