Just a fun thing to pass the time while I'm waiting for the tail! Here is my tail template, based after a lionfish. Feel free to add fins, re-color, mess with it! Curious to see everyone's take on my pattern :)

Thanks Shimmer! I'm really excited about the tendrils on the back coming off the ankle fins :D I've been messing with it a bit more since I wasn't crazy about the two full back stripes, and I added a little more lavender and fire red. here's the update: 2504525046

i might take you up on that. I cant draw to save my life and all the attempts i have done to do my design i haven't got far.

How do you even go about designing something like this? I can't even draw stick figure!

Sonnet I look up reference pictures and color palettes, then experiment with color placement and markings until I get what I want. This is design attempt #16 :) you just have to be persistent
