I mostly dress as a Vila or Sylph, fairy or ghost.

which was a performance, because here in Funland (Germany), Halloween is considered a childish affair, and your sanity will be questioned if you partake in costuming if you're older than 12 (unless you manage to find a motto party, which will probably consist only of people getting drunk and nothing else).
Also funny that most Germans will snub the holiday as "that American crap", completely oblivious that it's a century old Gaelic custom.

it's a big deal in Canada too. I don't look down on things as childish, I think adults need time to play and imagine and pretend to be healthy :) Halloween is the one time of year adults get to do that and I think a lot of people appreciate the chance to try and see what it's like to be something/someone else.

We;re hosting a Halloween board game party where we'll be playing spooky themed games! I'm so excited. I'm dressing up like Princess Serenity (Sailor Moon) which is so awesome cuz I've loved that show as a kid :D

25041 this year I'm ursula, last year I went as a mermaid pretending to be a human (I had had two mermaid parties that day and didn't have the energy to change my makeup, so I just put on a i'm really a mermaid shirt and scale leggings) :-) Year before I just got my monofin in Hawaii so I didn't dress up as I went swimming, and before that I was a blue crayon, and other random things, I'll see if I can find pictures.
