Quick question for all you tail making veterans. Where do you get your pigment, and which brand(s) do you recommend? Now that October is almost over I'll actually have income coming in and would like to start experimenting with silicone and pigment.

A lot of people use Jacquard Pearl Ex Powder Pigments. You can order them online or find them at art supply stores near you.

I thought I read on here someone using automotive dry pigment (for use on motor vehicles) but I can't find it now despite looking.
I'm going to try my local car paint shop and see what they have

I've never heard about pigments for silicone that car paint shop sells!
That's really new!

I'm using automotive pigments...and having mixed results...some are spectacular, some are meh. So far, no cure inhibition issues! :yay:

BUT They are hard to find in small amounts - everyone wants to sell you enough to cover a whole car!

Pearl Ex is the way to go.
