Does anyone have any good recommendations for a host? Any caution alerts on ones that are scams? The further I get with my silicone tail the more antsy I get about starting my professional mermaiding. I feel if I distract myself with this next important step, I'll spend less time going crazy over my inability to be working on my tail. Any and all good advice will be very welcome!!

Wix or weebly. Google sites is good too but not great.

I second Wix or Weebly. Don't use Google websites, they're horrible.

I use godaddy, cause their domains are ridiculously cheap. Their website builder is okay - not a lot of customisation options, but you can get around that by inserting custom images into everything. I *think* you can link your domain to wix or weebly, too, if you don't want to pay for the website builder. Though I'm not sure if that gets rid of the annoying "make your own site using ____" banner. Buying your own domain does mean greater control over your url, though :)

I use godaddy, too. My site was built on top of a pool cleaning service template. Easy once you get the hang of it.

Thanks! I think I'm gonna go with godaddy. And yeah, as for Google sites, they drive me crazy. I used it to make my performer page, and it was an awful experience!

I've used 1&1 for years, and their customer service is great.
