Obscure, but Anne is one of my favorite authors. I think I've read every book about Pern multiple times.

OOH, A Pern costume!!! I love Menolly :3 I'd love to see pics! Anne McCaffrey is probably my favorite author, I adore pretty much everything she's written!

I have probably no plans for Halloween (as per usual), but I'll probably paint my face as my automaton character anyways and test out these natural face paints!

Well, I'm not going out this year, but I helped my daughter with hers...Her nickname is Pee Wee and was the world's biggest Pee Wee Herman fan since birth! The costume is a little obscure...This is from the ending of his first HBO special, the very beginning of PeeWee's Playhouse "The Luckiest Boy in the World!". I promised not to show it on FB until after tomorrow, but I think I can share it here. (It's a work in progress...still have to paint the arm dowels black.)

I *had* planned on going to the local park's silent film and organ concert. They're playing Phantom of the Opera this year! But, things didn't work out for it. I also planned my costume- evil girl scout- but the evil merit badges I ordered from Evil Supply Co did not arrive in time (they did however refund my money thought the order was sent, with apologies and hopes of getting my business back one day). So WOE IS ME.

However, I did sew my daughter's costume, and it won most creative girl's costume at our beach town's Halloween carnival! She is so happy to be a unicorn. <3

I decided to be lazy and thrifty this year so I'm going as a basic bitch. (even though it's not really a costume.) gonna wear uggs and leggings and a big puffy infinity scarf and have my hair tied on the top of my head in a bun and carry around a punkin spice latte all day. I have to work as well and I figured it would be perfect because it's work appropriate.

Y'all have such awesome costumes and ideas and I'm sitting here, it's Halloween day, and all I want to be is a mermaid and it's in the 50's outside.
I do have a tiger kigurumi (one piece) that I might wear, though!

I'm in the same boat, Anichanchu. I just want to be in a tail, and carried on one of those fancy sedan chairs Cleopatra-stye ;) But, it's a little chilly...and I didn't plan ahead to get some strong cabana boys to carry me and my lounge between the various gatherings tonight, ha!

I'm at work and since I wear scrubs and don't have too much in the way of Halloween scrubs I'm wearing starfish in my hair and shell and pearl jewelry!

These are pictures from a small photoshoot in my costume. It was fun, I just sort of told my mother to hold the camera and take pictures after I set it to auto, since she's not sure what to do outside of auto with a dslr. I still think she got some nice pictures :) I added effects just because I felt like it.

My boyfriend and I went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show in our spooky flying squirrel and unicorn kigurumis! It was our first time watching, it was definitely a good time.

I wasn't anything really specific, just tossed on things from the cosplay closet and put on spooky makeup.
Wished I still had my pet rats though. They would have made it so much better than the toy one I had in my belt pocket.

I realized I forgot to take a picture of my costume this year. I did do a test run of the makeup though! I wish I'd had a blue or lilac wig for it though. Featuring a headress and earrings from my etsy store.
