I finally did it! I ordered my new monofin, and it's a beauty :)

It's this one, medium stiffness. Anywho, I'm super excited!

I ordered the neoprene off Amazon, but it's a little less dense (which I'm assuming will mean more buoyant) than the neoprene I'd gotten for a previous tail, but hopefully it'll be alright ;) that's what tail weights are for, right? Anyway, I'm covering it with a whoooole lot of iridescent sequins. Right now I'm gluing them on with e6000, do you guys think that'll hold them? I'd rather not have to sew them on if I don't need to :P

E6000 is a very good glue. It is very strong and will a long time.

Awesome :) even with all the bending that happens with swimming?

I'm hoping to do something similar with my neoprene tail, gluing the sequins, I mean. What kind of paint did you use on the fluke? It looks really good!

I just used spray paint on it :)

And it lasts well in the water?

Well... To be honest, I haven't tested it in the water yet x) but I've got a friend who spray painted her tail and the color has held up fine in the water :)

hmm spray paint is a different choice. I am starting my tail soon and i have been looking at all options for paint, and sequins. It will be interesting to see how the spray paint holds up. Cant wait to see how your tail comes out!
