taking in a fabric tail

*sheepish* so I lost a few inches since I ordered my finfun tail so it's a bit loose now. I'm wondering if I should take it in on the sides or if I should take it in on the back and fashion a dorsal

I'm sure it's easier to just take it in on the sides. No need for hemming and whatnot, and you can follow the line of the previous seam. Unless you particularly want a dorsal, in which case, two birds!
