Hi guys ^-^
As some of you may know : I've been planing to sell this tail for a while now, practically since it became an idea in 2012.The tail was made with my measurements so that i could easily alter it and expedite the process. i began pouring silicone for this tail on new years day and it was completed in July. It.It was only used for two photo shoots and It has only been swam in once to ensure its function and fit in the water. I plan to continue making tails and am selling it to create a wide library of molds and inventory for tails to come .
This is a huge tail, two and a half gallons of fx pro where used to make it and it has a custom two layers of lexan polycarbonate fluke infused into the tail (the polycarbonate is fused to a foot-pocket made of silicone with silicone), i mean it when i say this tail is completely silicone ( with the exception of the polycarbonate ) lol. There is not one drop of paint on this tail;the pigments and glitters i used where mixed into the silicone before pouring and the details /fading /gilding where all done by hand with the silicone. The scales are three sizes and flow into each-other ( No seams). I am asking $2000 USD for this tail plus shipping.
I can also add more scales to cover some belly and send you the mold for the scales in case you want to add some for more coverage yourself. The design of the tail was made to show off the lower stomach and was made higher in the back to give the illusion of the scales growing from the skin as they would if " anatomically correct" as depicted in some of the older paintings of mermaids i found ( not a straight line ) and cover ze butt when the wearer is sitting. This being said i am a relatively short woman (5'6) and most of my height is in my torso, as you will note by the measurements posted .
(Also ; the foot size is custom .It was made exactly to the dimensions of my feet which are four inches wide each and nine inches long , the "footplate" is made of silicone and will snugly fit a foot a size smaller or slimmer. (The foot pocket has two holes to put the feet through and one chamber for them booth.)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE know that this tail is not a toy .It takes a serious swimmer to maneuver with their legs bound . ( i know that if you're reading this on mernetwork you might have figured that out but a warning cant hurt)
Here you can find pics of the tail & measurements:
