First Tail EVERRR

So I am about to make my first mermaid tail I am going to be using Spandex, and I wanted to know where to find the best spandex online, some sewing tips, detailed instructions on how to trace my outline, and lastly how long this would approximately take me.

P.S. I'm just really excited and have no idea where to even start I have looked at spandexworld.com but I didn't know what I should be looking for. :confused:

If you go to the section of the site that says 'making tails' there are a couple youtube tutorial vids that will answer your questions and walk you through the process of making one out of spandex/lycra material.
