Me in my new tail! Tried it out a few times at the rainbow river and it is so amazing! It's like an extension of my legs and I have so much more power when I swim! I also feel it in my abs! :) I get a lot of looks and questions, Who made it? is it hard to swim in? stuff like that! It's so much fun! I have a new page on facebook for my alter ego, Nautilus The Merman, :))) Check it out!

Thank you :) I was going for that! I was joking around about swimming around in a NEON pink tail and see what kind of faces I get LOL

I think it's a smart colour for a guy too. I see a lot of blues and greens for men, it's nice to see some red.

The color and shape remind me of the PotC mermaids so that man-eatting connotation really gives your look an edge. I really, really like it on you!

Thank you guys! And yes, scheherazOdd it swims perfectly! Every kick I feel the power behind the tail! I made it from one side of the dock to the other in about 4 seconds and it's about 20-30 yards long and it was my first time in a tail so it's really good! When I get good at it I'll be able to beat Michael Phelps Hahahhaha

That's good. I've been kind of leery about latex tails because they look so heavy and awkward, but everyone on here assures me that they swim fine.

I think that ones a silicone. I swim in a latex tail and it's fine, I hear silicone ones are great just heavy. Personally I find myself so boyant in latex I think the weight of silicone would help me stay under better. It IS different however than swimming in fabrics so be sure you're safe if you try latex or silicone. With fabrics the water can flow right though the breathable material and it doesn't collect in the tail the way it can in silicone and latex creating drag. It's fine for swimming it's just a shock if you're not prepared/used to it.

Tru dat. The fist time I swam in my latex tail, I didn't have the heel straps tight enough and the drag of the water nearly pulled it off.

It's actually VERY easy to swim in! I have never swam in a tail before this one! :) it got in and started kicking and the power was incredible! It is silicone and Raina is right! No water gets in! It's so much fun! I even wear it in the hot tub sometimes! Lol

It's really not that heavy underwater! You feel it there but the force of going forward makes it weightless! :) I was scared at first but it went away fast! :) soooooooooo much fun!

As everyone else said, I think it's an awesome color on you. I see lots of blues and greens for men, so it's refreshing to see more red. Goes well with your warm skin tone. I'm guess a mertalior tail?

it's quite different than the feeling of a fabric tail. For the most part they're (fabric)akin to basically wearing tights and having your legs together. No weight at all and the water can flow through them. so for someone learning on one of those they have to expect a bit of difference when putting on latex or silicone/.
