Questions About Fund Raising For Making A Tail/ Starting Business.

Hello all!
I been let go from my seasonal job at Party City and the last of my paycheck is going to my schooling for next semester. Even though i'm currently looking for a job, I still need to start a fund raiser for starting my business and making a tail or two and I have a few questions.
1) What is the best fundraising site?
2) What could I make to also help earn money (i.e. Mermaid accessories and Decor)?

It would probably be best to go with either "indiegogo" or some other site that allows you to keep the money donated to you whether you reach your goal by the time limit or not. Make sure to advertise often during the time (mostly on facebook and tumblr and such. Not so much here, as many mers always seem to say "most of this community is trying to save money for tails so you would just be askin help from people in the same boat" also, friends and family, even just asking them to share the link can help because maybe a friend of your friend might donate) and it's probably best to have a reason for money then just wanting the tail itself. Maybe there is a certain demographic you want to cater to? Advertise it and make it clear that the money will be going towards this endeavour. (People tend to not wanna give money if the only thing you are using it for is to buy a personal item. do you plan to work with children? Special needs kids? A mermaid media project? Etc..? Make it known so that the money is technically going towards the buisnes as a whole, so it does not seem like you are just trying to get other pay for a costume item you really want)

Hair clips and mermaid tops seem to be something a lot of mers like and would probably be the best to sell, but honestly any thing pretty, well made, and mermaid related will probably sell ok in my view
