Hey all you crafty Mers!
Like I don't have enough on my plate, ;)
I'm making lightweight, durable resin shells for tops. Or anything else you might want to use them for!
I cast a Lion's Paw (typical size around 5" across) and a Large Scallop Shell (the kind used for baking, about the same width as the Lion's Paw, but much flatter). They are made in white resin, ready for painting. I can also drill holes in them for you if you like!
I rotocast them so they are the same thickness all around, and if you like, I can fill them with some more resin to act as 'push-up' shells.

These are awesome! What kind of paint would you recommend? Is there any extra charge for drilling holes and having the "push up" option?

Could we commission a full top from you? Like shells painted and assembled? I would like a push up shell top for sure.

These are awesome! What kind of paint would you recommend? Is there any extra charge for drilling holes and having the "push up" option?I would recommend acrylics, our regular canned spray paint for solid colors, sealed with clear gloss spray enamel, like Krylon, or clear resin like Easy Cast or EnviroTex.No extra charge for drilling holes or the resin filled push up option! I can even remove the shells' "ears" on the hinge side, if you want. Let me know where you want the holes.
Could we commission a full top from you? Like shells painted and assembled? I would like a push up shell top for sure.I think that's doable! Let me crank one out and see how involved it is!:yay:
Ooh, those are beautiful, PearlieMae! I really like those Lion's Paws! I may have to have you paint a pair for me sometime, all that sealer stuff just kills me >.< I love that you add the push-up option!

I need larger boulder-holders, Pearlie Mae!! 5 inches would practically be nipple covers for my rack :(
Any chance you'd be doing something larger (clam shells? ) in the near future?

I'd love to see about adding a pair to my order, but do you reckon they'd fit a 34DD?

Okay, I'm going to try and make a top and we'll see how it goes! :D

I have yet to find a pair of shells that provide enough coverage for a DD... :c Good luck! I really hope you come across some so we busty mers can order!
I'm excited this could be a really good for me, yet another member of the IBTC :)

I don't mind a bit of cleavage; I've come to accept it in the tops I make for myself xD
A scales-and-shells top like Aurelia mentioned might solve that problem, if it were possible!

I've been thinking about this all day, & I just walked in from work and the grocery store, so as soon as I get everything put away and the kitty cats petted, I'm going to bust out with some clay and see what I can make!
I'm going to see if I can press the clay onto the lion's paw and extend the texture into something bigger! and I like the idea of the scale and shell combination!
Let me ask you bustier girls, do you prefer a halter style top or does a regular bra top offer more support?

I think halter offers more support and lift/cleavage, but can be painful on the neck.

Halter, but the straps need to be quite wide and thick so they don't cut into the neck.

I like both styles but the regular bra style but with thicker more comfortable straps is best for big breasts.
Psst... the criss-cross back style of top I do offers even more support/security than a halter, and does NOT hurt your neck or shoulders, since the weight is distributed evenly in all the right places ;)
