Sudden waves of Facebook likes?

Is it normal to get a massive amount of likes in a short amount of time? This is my facebook page for Mermaid Ayla currently. 2544825449 Notifications like this go back a few days but I figured you'd get the point. Many of these likes seem to be from countries like India and Africa, and that seems a bit strange to me because all of my other likes seem to be from Minnesota and the surrounding areas. And to have these likes come flooding in every hour for days on end isn't normal. Does anyone know what's happening here? Should I do something about it?

you probably just got hit with a spam bot they're going around. FB now weeds out fake likes a lot better so any fake ones will go, real ones will stay. I think the mermaid community was targetted this week. A lot of what they'll do is spam like you then when you look in your spam folder on your page they're offering to sell you more and this is like a taste lol or they spam your wall.
