So as some of you may know I attempted a full latex tail. It didn't exactly work out. My fluke mold turned out like this http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/11/17/253b426820cf9ec2f68751f6af56fc6f.jpg

Now It's been about a year and I want to tackle a full silicone tail. I have no idea why I'm connived I can do this but I'm going to try anyway. Can I salvage this mold by putting shell shock in it? The things basically toast so I should probably start over but I'm open I suggestion

Or maybe a type of putty which you can smooth to perfection and which will dry hard?

Looking at the mold now, I think it would be a better idea to make a new shell shock mold especially because I'm changing my fluke shape
