Waist to hip ratio problems

I am planning to get a silicone tail down the line. The problem is that I have a huge difference between my waist measurement and my hip measurement- 27 inch waist to 41 inch hips (I HATE buying pants!). I know silicone is sort of stretchy, but can it stretch enough for the waist to go over my hips and still fit around my waist? Or should I settle for a lower cut, hip hugging tail?

From what I've seen, the loose-fitting waist is a problem with most silicone tails as it's not as stretchy as other materials.
Maybe you can help yourself with a belt holding it in place, or with a tight low-cut tail as you mentioned?

blue mermaid also has this problem so she gets all her tails with a hidden zipper. She's a really good person to talk to about this
