I wondered if any of you had experience travelling or flying with your monofin or silicone performance tail. How do you pack it / what type of bag? Do you check it or take it as carryon? Any insights or experience with this from any of you would be great.

Well for me my Mermaid Creations tail can fit into my large size luggage. Since I have a foil monofin the fluke ends fold in and the body of the tail is then folded and have towels between each roll so that it doesnt create a crease. I have flown with it and use it to head up to go swimming with a friend.

There are several threads that deal with this topic, if you want to check them out.
Just type in "tail travel" in the search box. People keep on starting new threads on the same topics so the information is a little scattered.
