Hello Everybody! Thank you for looking!

I AM NOT ASKING FOR FREE DONATIONS!!! I am simply asking for people to look at my online fundraiser.

The web address is: www.efundraising.com/GiveVolunteerTrip (http://www.efundraising.com/givevolunteertrip)

I would be extremely grateful if anyone would share my fundraiser on their Facebook page, and maybe buy a thing or two.

There are several great deals, such as a $200 Restaurant.com gift certificate for only $35. There is plenty of beautiful jewelry, wonderful candles and delicious cookie dough that can be given as Christmas or birthday gifts!

I receive 40% of each sale which goes directly to the cost for me to volunteer.

I am working on getting some pictures to put here.

Here is the information that is given on the site about the actual volunteer trip:

I have been given the opportunity to volunteer in Nicaragua this coming summer with Growth International Volunteer Excursions (GIVE Volunteers). I am extremely excited to have the chance to give back to the world through GIVE and use this experience to continue helping throughout my life. As many of you may or may not know, I hope to become a physician in order to help children in less developed areas of the world, and I view this as an amazing opportunity help sooner rather than later.

GIVE focuses on sustainable community development in low-income communities by assisting, educating, and empowering the local population. I will be directly involved in the following volunteer projects:

Building the only secondary school in the region (out of recycled plastic bottle collected from the are, which also reduces pollution)
Teaching English to children
Implementing large-scale fresh water projects to an estimated 12,000 locals
Participating in a project protecting endangered native sea turtles

GIVE continues to remain involved in these communities after volunteers like me have left Nicaragua. GIVE works within these communities year round to provide opportunities for sustainable development by funding teachers to work in the secondary school and funding doctors to provide medical care in these communities, such as I hope to.

However, in order for me to take this journey to Central America I must raise my own funds. The trip in total is going to cost about $3000, which includes a 21 day trip and applicable additional fees such as passport, travelers insurance, travel visa, and food. I am asking for donations of any size from family and friends. Even the smallest of amounts gets me that much closer to my goal and to Nicaragua! 100% of all contributions will go directly to the cost for me to volunteer.
