Hi! I don't post here much but I am so so so excited because I have a new tail in development and I wanted to share it!

I am a corporate flight attendant with a television background in real life so I spend my days in the sky and my relax time in the water. I own a few silicone tails both second hand, mertailor and a private maker , which I love, but they are so heavy. I have to travel as light as possible because the luggage compartment on a g450 is tiny and is not supposed to be hogged by crew. A silicone tail just takes up so much space that I love the glamour but need something more flexible and light to fly with. I have a few spandex tails but I'm hooked on the more realistic look. Eventually I will order one with all the bells and whistles like finfolk to keep at home but I am thrilled to have this one coming which I will unbox at merfest.

It's painted neoprene and the price point was under $1000 for tail and top including shipping.

Her name is Nicole Colchiski and I can't believe the talent she has in her past work. I think she has found a very unique niche. Anyway so here's the pics and inspiration!

The shell top was made to compliment my pinkie tail which was made by Mermaid LaNyah. She's making one to match the new tail and also Mermaid Bonnie's whale shark mertailor tail which I have committed to purchase when she retires it.

Here is her past work which sold me on a tail

Don't you love how her paint skill makes the neoprene look so realistic?

IM SO EXCITED.

This is the tail I traveled with last and it weighs about 25 lbs. the gorgeous fluke isn't flexible enough to fit in my baby jet without getting me in hot water and here is my spandex tail I love. It was fin fun. With Nicole's talent I anticipate possibly selling my current tails in a year to upgrade to a finfolk and then use her tails to travel with.

My mertailor which I also may sell in 2015

See how small this plane is? No room for flight attendant luxury items there or in our arrival car.

Ooh, I love the design concept on that tail! Her work is lovely, it does look very realistic! I think it'll fit nicely into luggage, the Neoprene tails I've gotten to see have all folded up fairly compactly for being so substantial. How neat that you get to fly with your tails around on a little jet <3 I adore air travel!

OMG THAT PINKIE TAIL <3 <3 <3 :swoon::drool::hail: THOSE ARE EXACTLY MY COLOURSSSSSS

When are you thinking of selling? What are the measurements? Keep me updated on this, I am broke but I may try to raise the funds to rehome it if the stars align!

My pinkie tail is gorgeous. I love it. It's completely silicone and it would probably fit someone 5'5-5'6" waist is 30 hips are like 39 shoe size around 8. Weight probably 145-155. I'm just slightly too short. I can make it work and I do but I'm not sure how long I will keep it

Hmm, it may be a couple of inches too big for me in either measurement... However, I am not afraid of modifying something like this if needs be!

If you do decide to part with such a gorgeous tail, please keep me in mind... LaNyah does some beautiful work, and that colouration is just TO DIE FOR!

I see it's also travelled to Thailand - I used to work for the nicest Thai man and his family at his restaurant, so it's on my bucket list to visit someday!

How much do you think you'd sell the pinkie tail for if you do end up selling it? It's so colorful. I love it.

I sent it back to the tail maker to fix it to my measurements so i can enjoy it longer! Maybe in a year or so

Mermaid Shannon, I've also ordered a tail from Nicole, a.k.a. Lotus here, and I'm also expecting to get it at NC Merfest. I say we take pictures together and show off her craftmanship and generally ham it up :)
